DRUG INFORMATION AND CONSUMER EDUCATION UNIT

Objectives :

• To serve as effective providers of drug information;
• To improve awareness and knowledge on health among the public in the quality use of medicine and pharmaceutical products;
• To promote patient care through rational use of drugs by the improved availability and use of drug information.

Service activities :

• Respond to drug information request from healthcare professionals/consumer.
• Prepare educational brochure and distribute to hospitals/clinics.
• Reports and publications ( Eg : Annual Report and Bulletin)
